We all desire to achieve in life but at the same time, life keeps getting in the way! And, I know what you are thinking, How can I make room for the things I desire when I am consumed by the needs of others?
So long you have been sacrificing yourself. Yet, to experience alignment, you must choose yourself! This requires releasing thoughts and behaviors that are no longer self-serving, boldly communicating your desires, and authentically stepping into your power.
1996
Got Married...
I only said I do because it felt right to others (my family and my friends), but not to me. My gut-feeling told me this wasn’t right -- my hard-headed self did not follow.
2000
Began Career in Pharma
I received a job offer from a major biopharmaceutical company. The work was unfulfilling, but the pay was great.
2007
Experienced a Life-Threatening Illness
My career came to a screeching halt. I was hospitalized with a rare condition induced by stress and misalignment. Post-surgery, I was warned that if I did not make significant lifestyle changes, I would not live to see my 40th birthday.
2009
Divorced
That gut-feeling came back to bite! After the split, the only options I had left in life were me, myself, and I. Take a wild guess on who I chose!
